Dr Julia Hopkins    MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, BA

Dr Julia Hopkins trained at Birmingham University and qualified in 1986. After a career break to have a family, she resumed medical training doing various hospital posts in Winchester and Southampton before becoming a trainee GP with Dr Lindsay at Overton. She liked it so much that she decided to stay, and became a full time GP with the Oakley and Overton Surgery three years ago. She now works part time at the surgery.
Julia is married with two children, and lives outside Winchester. Her husband is an IT Consultant and also teaches at the local primary school.
