PRACTICE NURSING TEAM

Our practice nurses run clinics daily. Appointments can be made for such things as wound care, ear care, immunisations; help with lifestyle changes such as stopping smoking or loosing weight; contraception and cervical smears; and management of diseases such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension.

Each nurse specialises in particular areas and different length appointments are needed for different things. The receptionist will guide you when you book a nurse appointment.

 I did SRN training at The London Hospital, midwifery at Winchester, and was a Marie Curie nurse before starting General Practice nursing in 1990. I now lead and manage the nursing team. My special clinical interests are respiratory disease, hypertension and contraception.
When not at work I like to run, dance, pump iron, do pilates, ski, read, meet up with friends, eat chocolate and drink wine!
